# Darty Methods

The Darty methods are commands which manipulate Illustrator document art according to the functionality of their respective Adobe Illustrator feature.
These commands are available for most art and document editing functions in regular Illustrator usage, through a mouse-controlled tool or menu-item command:

  • Artwork manipulation: coloring, text-replacement, changing the object's visual appearance and positioning.
  • Advanced: artwork appearance panel edits with added fills & effects.
  • Changing of artwork location or structure with layer and group/ungroup methods, or removing the artwork.
  • Editing & creation of document assets: compositionally-generated artwork, swatches & graphic-styles.
  • Management of document-level attributes such as Document Color Space and artboards.
  • Export of individual art-objects, artboards, or the entire document.
  • And much more!
